The Caritas Ambassadors had a very diffciult job judging our Easter art competition. Well done to all who took part and to our winners. The Caritas Ambassadors also organised a fundraising event. We managed to raise £356.11 for the ADDO project in South Africa which is run by the Sisters of Mercy.

We have been learning all about the Eatwell Plate. We designed healthy wraps that included foods from different food groups. When we prepared the food, we learned how to grate cheese safely and also cut different foods, including cucumber using the bridge cut. Then, we had great fun making our wrap and learning how to fold it so that it did not fall apart

Our Prayer Gardens 2nd Mar 2026

Last summer, the PTA helped to fundraise for the development of our prayer gardens. We bought new planters , lots of plants and the 'flower ladies' at St Bartholomew's donated a beautiful Good Shepherd statue. All the children were involved in designing a pebble and also in creating the mosaic circles in the KS2 prayer garden. Fr John came to give our prayer gardens a blessing.

In October 2022, Isabel Thomas, came to open our school library. The PTA raised in the region of £14,000 to pay for all the furniture and all the brand new books for our children to enjoy.
